The UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2026 brought together talented professionals and businesses from across the UK to recognise the hard work, passion and creativity that goes into the hair and beauty industry every day.

This year was particularly special for us at Ovatu, as we were proud to be the official category sponsor of Best Salon Team.

That's why Best Salon Team felt like such a natural category for Ovatu to support, recognising not only individual talent, but the people who come together to make a salon what it is.

And the HBA 2026 Best Salon Team winner is…

A huge congratulations to Stacey McKnight Hairdressing, crowned the national winner of Best Salon Team at the HBA Awards 2026.

The Blakedown salon opened in July 2020 and has gone on to achieve an impressive five industry awards, but this was the first recognising the salon specifically for its team. Salon owner Stacey McKnight described the win as particularly meaningful because the success of the salon has always come down to the people behind it.

She spoke about the talent, hard work and care her team brings to the salon every day, as well as the way they support one another, celebrate each other's successes and continue to grow together.

Celebrating the HBA 2026 finalists

Thousands of professionals and businesses from across the UK entered the HBA Awards this year, with entrants recognised across the Top 100, Top 50, Top 10 and finalist stages.

Making it through in such a competitive industry is an achievement in itself, and we'd like to congratulate every salon recognised in the Best Salon Team category.

It was a privilege for Ovatu to support a category celebrating the teamwork that happens every day across the UK salon industry.

A day to remember at the AO Arena

The HBA Awards ceremony took place at the AO Arena in Manchester on Saturday 15 August 2026, bringing the industry together for a day of recognition and celebration.

For Ovatu, it was an opportunity to meet more of the people behind the businesses we love supporting and celebrate the talent, creativity and entrepreneurship that continue to drive the hair and beauty industry forward.
